Recipe for Mischievous Elf Cookies - free to personalise and print!
Here is the secret recipe from the Mischievous Elves, straight from their delicious workshop! These magical cookies are their favourites, and they sometimes like to hide in the kitchen to steal a few.
Soft and fluffy, crunchy on the edges and sprinkled with chocolate chips that melt with every bite, these cookies are a true sweet treasure. With a hint of vanilla or a dash of “special Christmas” cinnamon, they become even more irresistible. To make them even more magical, the Elves add little colourful sweets, shimmering sprinkles or other sugary treasures that will surprise your taste buds.
Ready to get your hands dirty? Mix, shape, place on your baking tray and let the magic happen in the oven. Beware: these cookies disappear very quickly… especially if a cheeky little elf is around!
This recipe is completely free to print, and you can personalise it with the name of your elf or elves, add your name, or even that of Mrs Claus if you fancy! In the spirit of the Elf on the Shelf tradition, it becomes the recipe for the favourite cookies of… your Christmas elf or elves, a little magical keepsake to display, gift or slip into an elf scene!
A little elf tip:
For really soft cookies:
-> use brown sugar: it retains moisture and gives a gooey centre.
For crunchier cookies:
-> opt for white sugar: drier texture and crunchy edges.
The perfect mix:
-> 50% brown sugar + 50% white sugar = soft in the middle + crunchy around the edges.
