Plesiosaur - Dinosaurs (1 colouring page)
The Plesiosaurus was a marine reptile from the Jurassic period, measuring between 3 and 5 metres, known for its broad and flat body, paddle-like flippers, and especially its long neck, made up of about 40 vertebrae, which allowed it to capture prey such as fish. A carnivore, it hunted in shallow seas and lagoons. Its hydrodynamic body, combined with its four powerful flippers, provided it with great agility in the water. Although it was not a dinosaur, it remains emblematic of prehistoric marine creatures.
