Day of the Dead - Page 3 (76 colouring pages)

The traditional Day of the Dead celebration, which originated in Mexico, is somewhat akin to Halloween; the "Día de los Muertos" is particularly prominent in Hispanic countries.
The festival generally spans three days: from 31st October to 2nd November.
The principle of "Día de los Muertos" is to remember the deceased in a joyful manner: by decorating cemeteries with flowers and food, creating altars adorned in memory of the dead in homes...
Mexican beliefs state that death is merely a stage of life.
During "Día de los Muertos," the streets are adorned in towns, there are music groups, people dance and dress up, and sugary treats in the shape of skulls (calaveras) and skeletons are made.
