From 22nd or 23rd September (autumn equinox) to 21st or 22nd December, the autumn season follows summer and precedes winter.
Shorter days, falling leaves from trees, shades of yellow, gold, orange and red in nature, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos, pumpkins and gourds of all kinds characterise the autumn season.
